The Advertisement Invasion
When I was watching this show called Futurama I noticed something in one of the episodes. It was in the episode where they go into the internet and play video games. Anyways when they were in the internet they were swarmed by a bunch of advertisements that chased them around everywhere they went. This reminded me of how this happens in real life too. Advertisements aren't literally flying around and chasing us but they are everywhere we go on the internet. When these advertisements are lurking around on educational websites this causes a huge problem. The whole point of advertisements are to distract you from what you're doing and look at them. If there are advertisements on a website that is supposed to teach you something, it will make it harder for you to focus on reading the website and learning. You will just get distracted and look at the advertisements for a really long time and then just do it repeatedly. The invasion of advertisements will become a huge problem and it will affect the usefulness of the internet.

How do you think that we go about getting rid of these “violent” advertisements? Because I honestly don’t believe that there is a way. It’s very possible that in the future there will be even more media and even more distracting advertisements.
